These are a series of DVD's highlighting the work of these director's music videos, documentaries, and short films. Each is great in its own way, as each director has a large body of work and some familair and not so familiar projects. Spike Jonze - directed "Being John Malkovitch" and "Adaptation" shows a number of music videos all in his witty narrative style, including those for MC 900 Ft Jesus, The Beastie Boys, Wax, and Fatboy Slim. Chris Cunningham showcases his technical looking and often gritty videos for bands like Aphex Twin, Portishead, and Bjork. Michel Gondry showcases videos for The White Stripes, Foo Fighters, Bjork,and others.
really well worth a rental - very inspring imagery here - after all what is film but a whole lot of photographs viewed very quickly?
